OIL CITY CONFIDENTIAL RELEASE
Following a successful run of film festivals including London, Barcelona and Stockholm, Oil City Confidential will be released on 2nd February, 2010 across 90 cinemas. The Cineplex Movie Starr on Eastern Esplanade, Canvey Island will be showing the film on 2nd, 3rd and 4th February.

Julien Temple's new film about the very early days of Dr. Feelgood, "Oil City Confidential", triumphed at the London Film Festival last Friday night, receiving a standing ovation and with the atmosphere of a live gig! Guest of honour was Lee Brilleaux's mother Joan Collinson along with his widow Shirley and children Kelly and Nick. All the original surviving band members were also present along with manager Chris Fenwick, former tour manager and Stiff Records boss Jake Riviera and a host of Dr. Feelgood's friends and colleagues both past and present.
