21st LEE BRILLEAUX MEMORIAL NOTICE

After careful consideration we have decided that this, the 21st Lee Brilleaux Memorial show, marking 20 years since Lee's death will be the last. This celebration of Lee's life has over the years raised the enormous sum of £90,762.84 and this year, with your help, we would like to raise this total to £100,000 which would be a fitting legacy to Lee. When the first Memorial show took place just weeks after Lee's death we never imagined that it would continue for so long. This has only been possible because of the help that we have received and we are very grateful to everyone who has ever contributed. Over the years countless musicians have taken to the stage completely free of charge and at their own expense to maximise the proceeds of this event. We have always had the current Dr Feelgood line up and of course the past members of the Feelgoods on stage to make this such a success. Big thanks to Eddie and the Hot Rods and The Kursaal Flyers who have appeared many times over the years. A special thank you to the Reverend David Tudor for his words of wisdom. All the venues that we have used over the years, including The Oysterfleet, have given us the room free of charge and we are very grateful to them. Thanks especially to Brian, Hannah, Simon and all the team for their help. Thanks to Richard and Jack and to all of the doormen who have given their services for free, and thank you Nic for organising the event over the last few years. Thanks to Paul for his ticket designs, to Steve for his poster contributions, to Steve Shepherd for PA & Lights and to anyone who has ever helped in any way. Finally thanks to all of you, the Feelgood family, who have made this such a special evening always and we hope you have a great night with us on the 9th May. Please donate as much as you can to help us reach our target. Ann, Chris & Kevin.
